Riyada seek to support entrepreneurs and owners of small and micro enterprises, with innovative and promising ideas and sound economic studies, and essential resources to achieve their ambitions, so as to provide them with suitable working environment during the critical early years of the project and increase the chance of success by offering technical and administrative aspects at a minimal cost, and assist the project owner to focus on the work for a specific period of one to three years. Incubators play a key role in supporting new projects, where it proved a great success in raising the success rates of these emerging projects
Furthermore we coordinate with business centers and educational institutions to find marketing channels for owners of small and micro enterprises at discounted prices. As well as coordinate with educational institutions to establish entrepreneurs centers.
Established under the umbrella of Riyada working to support entrepreneurs, who meet their ambitious ideas and sound economic study, offering some resources needed to achieve their ambitions, so as to provide them with suitable working environment during the first years of their project life and increase the chance of success by completing the technical and administrative aspects at a nominal cost for the project owner to focus on the essence of the work during a specific time period.
Memorandum of understanding was signed between Riyada and the National Business Center on 25th May, 2015 for the management of incubators placed at Riyada HQ building.
The applicant has the right to request for Riyada incubators meeting all following conditions::
Where each incubator is granted a grace period of 3 months to be paid 3 RO. per meter starting from the fourth month to the end of the decade.
The programme aims to set up a national technology business entrepreneurship for the Sultanate of Oman in coordination and collaboration with Government and non-Government stakeholders to encourage entrepreneurship and the development of IT and IT related small and medium business in the Sultanate.
The programme is a Public Private Partnership Model and will contribute to the development of an internationally competitive ICT industry, self-employment and new job creation, introduction of new technologies to create innovative products, solutions and services, Generate commercially viable and technology based small and medium enterprises in Oman.
